Phoenix

This gentle girl is Phoenix.

She is an 8 month old Staffy x Jack Russell Terrier.

She came into our care with her two siblings (her sister has already found her forever home) from the pound where they were days away from being put to sleep! As a result we have no information on their previous lives.

Phoenix is the most nervous of her siblings and can still be cautious of people.

With patience and calmness from staff and volunteers she has been slowly coming out of her shell but she still has a little while to go yet.

Because of her nervous nature we are looking for a home with strictly 12+ dog savvy children who will understand about giving Phoenix her own space and that she will take a little time to build confidence.

We have observed that she comes out of her shell more when around other dogs so she can also be rehomed with a calm adult dog who will help her come out of his shell more, following successful dog meets.
