Tonight at the Coca-Cola CIPR Media Awards, Assisi and Mencap have been chosen as the CIPR's Joint Charities of the Year. Both Charities will benefit from the proceeds of a prize draw to be held at the Award Ceremony.  There are lots of great prizes such as a two-night stay at the Roe Park Resort and a treatment at The Merchant, so hopefully there will be lots of money raised for Assisi and Mencap. Smokey is a 2 year old Labrador / Shepherd X.  He's quite a friendly chap, and has previously lived with young children.  He's just arrived and is a bit nervous at the moment.  Once he's fully assessed we'll update this info.

Chalky is a 1 1/2 year old Lurcher X.  He's fine with kids and other dogs, and loves loves walking and playing fetch with tennis balls.

Lucky has been reserved. Lucky is a 7 year old Roan Cocker Spaniel.  He can be a little nervous of new people and other dogs, so he is looking for a quieter home, where he would be the only dog.  Ideally a home where someone is home most of the time. He loves playing and is very affectionate.

Angus is a 3 year old Great Dane / Labrador X.  He doesn't like small dogs but gets on great with other dogs his own size.  He would be good with kids aged 5+, due to his size.

The Newtownards Assisi Support Group would like to thank everyone who helped with the street collection on Saturday in Newtownards.   They are delighted - with your help they raised £843.     Many thanks also to everyone who donated - thank you all very much.

Tim has been reserved. Tim is a lovely older boy who is looking for a quieter home.  He is a cheeky, typical Jack but is very affectionate, but needs work on handling.
