Nicky Caughey to walk 75km in one day for Assisi.

Nicky Caughey is walking 75km for Assisi on 30th September 2015. The walk shall talk place around the Lacale Challenge course from Downpatrick to Newcastle.   Nicky said "I'm walking 75km in 1 day for Assisi Animal Sanctuary because I saw first hand the wonderful work they do.

This shy guy is Wilbur. Wilbur is approx 6 yrs old and he is seeking a quiet home. Wilbur is a friendly boy once he gets to know you and he has lived with dogs before. Wilbur would best suited to a home with no other cats and a low traffic area as he doesn't have much road sense.

Alfie and Jessie

Meet Alfie and Jessie. Alfie is 3 yrs old and Jessie is 2 yrs old and they are both JR x. Alfie and Jessie are very much in love and would love a new home together. They have not long arrived at the Sanctuary so they are still under assessment but we do know that they love to play fetch.

This little rascal is Patrick. Patrick is 5 yrs old and he is seeking a quiet home. Patrick is a very friendly boy but he can be shy until he gets to know you. Patrick would be best suited to a home with no young children and no other animals.

Jette and Connie

These beautiful, elegant girls are Jette and Connie. Jette is approx 9 yrs old and Connie is approx 5 yrs old and they are both lurchers. These girls arrived into the Sanctuary together so we would love to keep them together but we know it will be very difficult to find a home for 2 lurchers. We haven't tried to separate these girls just yet. They are both sweet natured girls who love human company.

This gorgeous girl is Honey. Honey is a 11 month old fun loving hound x and she is seeking her forever home. Honey is a very friendly, sociable, excitable girl who loves to play football. Honey needs an active family who are willing to continue her training.

Open Day and Coffee Morning – Saturday 15 August

Thank you to everyone who attended our Coffee Morning at the sanctuary today. It was great to see so many friends both human and canine. The weather was kind to us and the rain stayed away during the event. Thanks also go to all our volunteers who worked on the stalls today and to the volunteers and staff who worked during the week doing last minute painting and gardening to get everything looking so well around the sanctuary. Abandoned Pups brought to Assisi

We are overwhelmed with the response from the public and the offers of help for these puppies. They were found by a member of the public in a cardboard box beside a river outside Omagh. They were then transported to Assisi by a sequence of Assisi volunteers. All the pups…
