Nicky Caughey walked 75km for Assisi

Nicky Caughey and Cali walked 75km for Assisi and raised £2,131. Isn't that fantastic - well done to both of them and thank you for all the animals at Assisi. The walk took place around the Lacale Challenge course from Downpatrick to Newcastle.   Nicky said "I'm walked 75km in 1 day for Assisi Animal Sanctuary because I saw first hand the wonderful work they do.

The Assisi 2016 Calendar and our Christmas Cards are now available from the Sanctuary and from our two charity stores in Ballynahinch and Newtownards. PSNI Ards and Bangor Mends Fences

Omagh Pups Update

The first of our Omagh pups was rehomed yesterday.  Chantelle is pictured holding little A.J. and is with two of our dedicated volunteers; Caroline (right) has been looking after A.J. and his siblings since they arrived with us.  Muriel (left) is one of our home visitors who are on hand to advise new owners on what to expect from their new arrival.  The rest of the Omagh pups will be going to their new homes over the next few days.

Open Day and Coffee Morning – Saturday 15 August

Thank you to everyone who attended our Coffee Morning at the sanctuary today. It was great to see so many friends both human and canine. The weather was kind to us and the rain stayed away during the event.
