Sponsor a Long Term Resident
Most of our animals are available for rehoming but some of them need extra care and attention through no fault of their own. They may have illnesses that we need to look after or they may have some issues arising from a poor start in their lives. You could sponsor one of these longer term residents from just £3 a month which will contribute towards their food, vaccinations and vet bills.
These amounts can be paid by a monthly standing order and any amount on a regular basis will be very much appreciated by our residents. If you are a tax payer we are able to reclaim 25p for every £1 you donate.
We do not receive any government funding, so by sponsoring one of our residents you are helping to save their lives.
In return for your support, you will get a best friend for life
When you decide to sponsor one of our animals, you will receive the Assisi Newsletter, five times a year. You will also receive regular updates from your new friend and a sponsorship pack, which includes a special photo of your new friend, a window sticker and a lapel badge.

Hi there I volunteer to fundraise but I am interested in sponsorship. I met Freya at Delamont and if I did not have a busy home with 4 rescue dogs already I would have loved to rehome Freya. I understand she has some issues which make my family unsuitable, but would like to contribute towards her care. How do I go about this?
Sharon. Thank you for offering to sponsor Freya. She does have some issues and it is mainly around meeting new people. She will bark at anyone new who comes near her and her bark is her defence against new people coming too close to her. Once she gets to know people she is fine with them. She has several dog walkers who she knows and they walk her regularly and she has a very good dog walker/friend who walks her regularly and also takes her home some weekends. Unfortunately she cannot rehome Freya as she works long hours and travels. I have your email address and will email you a sponsorship form. If it doesn’t come through let me know and I will put one in the post to you.

Eleanor. We would love you to sponsor an Assisi animal but we do not keep ferrets. You will see the animals we have available for sponsorship if you click on the Sponsorship link on the grey lines going across the middle of the screen.
