Leia is now rehomed
This beautiful girl is Leia, a 5 year old Hound X.
Leia is a special girl who has been with us for a few weeks now. When she came in to us she had completely given up on life. She just lay in her bed and didn’t want to see or do anything.
Now this lovely girl loves her walks, loves the company of other dogs and absolutely adores sunbathing!
Leia is still very shy and needs someone to restore her faith in humans again. Although we are doing everything in our power to improve her wellbeing and regain her trust, we firmly believe that the best way for her to improve is to find a home of her own.
She finds kennels very stressful. She has a good appetite but finds it hard to maintain her weight due to this stress. Ideally she would need a quiet home with few visitors.
We believe that another dog in the home would be advantageous, as this would help improve her confidence. She would need someone who is home most of the time to create a bond with Leia and gain her trust.
Due to her being timid we are looking to rehome her to a home with older children and no cats.
If you think you can give this special girl exactly what she needs and deserves, call up to the sanctuary Tuesday-Sunday 11am-3pm and complete an application form.
