Sally and Jacob – happy in their new home

We would like to give you an update on our wee dote Sally.  Sally has been with us for nearly two years, although it seems a lifetime. Within a couple of days, she took up her favourite position at the window to watch the world go by.

In her first year with us, she had a few severe epileptic fits, but thanks to a stable environment and changes in her medication, they are now few and far between. Her diabetes has never been a problem.   Sally is very affectionate and loves nothing more than to be petted and made a fuss of and dare you stop once you’ve started !

Even though her favourite pastime is snoozing, she can hear the fridge door open at 100 paces and subsequently is at your feet faster than a whippet looking for a tasty morsel.

We rescued Jacob at the same time as Sally. Like her, he had been returned to Assisi on numerous occasions for various reasons. It’s funny to watch them both play fight as they are such good companions. Sally rules the roost though and puts up with no nonsense from Jacob.

As Sally is now, and always will be part of the family, Ken and I would like to thank Sally’s sponsors for their continued support and bringing a wonderful wee character with her own unique personality into our lives.

With all her problems, we wouldn’t be without her, or Jacob.    Thank You Assisi.
