Assisi Animal Sanctuary is Northern Ireland's largest independent animal welfare charity providing shelter for up to 200 companion animals - cats, dogs and rabbits.
Snowey is a 2 year old white wire haired Terrier. Snowey can be nervous when she meets you for the first time but she is very friendly and good with other dogs. She could go to a family where the children are aged 10+.
Hello, was thinking of getting another dog to keep my terrier x company as both me and my partner work. Is snowy a dog or bitch and has he/she been neutered? Can we get the dogs to meet and see how they get on? Does snowy cast and what costs are involved?
Colin. The rehoming process is – call to the sanctuary and complete a rehoming form and the staff will then talk you through which dogs we have that would best suit your family. Once you have settled on a dog, we would then get you to bring you dog up and introduce them – maybe take them for a walk or play in the garden. I don’t have the most up-to-date booking information on Snowy so can’t confirm if he has a booking on him but if you are only interest in him please ring the sanctuary on 028 9181 2622 and they will be able to tell you. We ask for a minimum donation of £60 for our dogs and that covers – neutering, vaccinations, vet check, worming and de-fleaing, dog licence and four weeks insurance.
