Red is an active boy, who loves nothing more than a game of fetch, and would make a fabulous hiking companion. He ignores other dogs on walks, however wouldn’t be suited to living with other pets. Red was originally brought to the sanctuary in June 2017. He will need an experienced owner to help him deal with some behavioural issues.

Teddy is a 4-year-old Pomeranian cross. Teddy is an active boy who loves exploring on walks. He will need an experienced owner as he is a nervous dog with some behavioural issues. He wouldn’t be suitable to live with children or other animals, so he would be best suited to being the only animal in the house.

Tia is an 8-year-old Rottweiler. She has had a rough life in a puppy farm and came to us in a very poor condition. She is now doing very well, and is a super girl. Tia is friendly and needs a home where she will be fussed over. If you have large breed experience and can give her a settled home please get in contact.

Barney is a Pomeranian Cross who is around 5 years old. Ideally looking for an experienced owner with no children or other pets. He will need an owner who is understanding and committed to his training. He enjoys playing with toys and human attention on his own terms and loves to go for walks.

Vern is around 11 years old. He loves to chill in the sun, going for walks and playing with the staff here at Assisi. He would love to meet an owner who understands him and is able to give him lots of love but also his own space. He would also need to be the only pet in the home.

Rebel is around 10 years old. Although he is an older boy, he still loves his walks and playing with toys! He could live with another dog but no cats. He would be ideally suited to a home with older children and an owner who has lots of time to spend with him as he is an affectionate boy and loves being around people.

Jack is a 6-year-old Jack Russell Terrier. He has been at the sanctuary now for a number of months and is still looking for his forever home. He would need an experienced owner to work his behavioural issues. He wouldn't be suitable to live with children or cats unfortunately. However, he could potentially live with another settled dog.

Percy is a Springer Spaniel Cross who is around 5 years old. He needs an experienced owner who has lots of time to spend working on his training. He would need an adult only home but could live with another active dog as he loves to play with other dogs. He is finding kennel life quite stressful so we would love him to find his forever home soon.
